Dear Valued ISTC Customers and Partners,
As we welcome the New Year, I want to personally thank you for your continued trust, partnership, and support of the Industrial Safety Training Council. We are truly grateful to serve you and to play a role in keeping workers safe across our region and beyond.
As we reflect on 2025, it has been a remarkable year of growth and momentum for ISTC. One of our proudest achievements was the launch of the Safety Academy, first in Beaumont and, more recently, in Baytown. Since opening in Beaumont, nearly 10,000 trainees have participated in the Safety Academy, and the response has been overwhelmingly positive. In December, we extended this success with the opening of the Baytown Safety Academy, welcoming several hundred trainees in its first month alone.
Across both locations, we consistently hear that participants value the instructor-led format, the high level of class engagement, and the meaningful discussions centered around the 12 Lifesaving Rules. These academies are doing exactly what they were designed to do, raise awareness, encourage accountability, and strengthen safety culture.
Looking ahead, 2026 promises to be just as exciting, if not more so. In February, ISTC will open a new 20,000-square-foot facility dedicated to expanding our badging services. This new building will become the home of our proximity badging operations, allowing us to better serve industry with greater efficiency and capacity.
Currently, ISTC provides proximity badges for more than a dozen facilities, and this expansion will allow us to support even more sites with this convenient, value-added service. Our goal is simple: to enhance service delivery while maintaining the reliability and responsiveness our customers expect.
